The Financial Markets Authority has announced a series of workshops for advisers to discuss the FAA Review.
The Financial Markets Authority has announced a series of workshops discussing the FAA Review will be taking place in February 2016 and for financial advisers to register their interest before 15 January 2016.
“Following the release of the Options Paper, we will be jointly hosting with MBIE, a series of workshops to discuss options for improving the operation of the Financial Advisers Act 2008 and the Financial Service Providers (Registration and Dispute Resolution) Act 2008,” the FMA stated.
Subject to interest, the sessions will be held in:
• Auckland - Wednesday 10 February
• Wellington - Thursday 11 February
Christchurch - Tuesday 16 February
“Spaces are limited so please indicate your expression of interest in attending by Friday 15 January 2016 (a maximum of two people per company please). Further details including times and venues will be advised in January."
