REINZ announces new regional director

The Real Estate Institute of New Zealand (REINZ) has welcomed a new regional director into its ranks.

The Real Estate Institute of New Zealand  has appointed BayleysLocations, Queenstown general manager, Gail Hudson to the REINZ Board.

Chief executive of the Real Estate Institute Colleen Milne says, “Following a period of representing REINZ as a District Forum leader for the Queenstown Lakes area and her years of experience in real estate, Gail was an obvious choice for the Director role.”

Gail brings 15 years’ experience in real estate to the role having commenced her career in Christchurch before moving to the Queenstown and Southern area of New Zealand over five years ago.

As an Associate member of REINZ and general manager of BayleysLocations Queenstown, Gail has been involved in two acquisitions having merged two brands to sit under the Bayleys umbrella.

“Real estate is an important part of my life,” says Hudson.

“I am passionate about raising standards and being able to be involved in the industry in such a way as being a Director of REINZ is a great honour.”

Hudson commenced her role in December and replaces former regional director Liz Nidd who filled the role for 7 years.
