Symposium for investment professionals to be held next week

PortfolioConstruction Forum, a specialist, independent provider of continuing education for investment analysts and advisers, is presenting its Symposium 2016 next week.

Symposium 2016 is the annual continuing education program for investment analysts and advisers, presented by PortfolioConstruction Forum.

The two-day conference will take place next week on 17 and 18 May in Auckland and is aimed at professionals with a responsibility to understand the outlook for global investment markets (day one), and those responsible for developing robust portfolio strategies for clients (day two).

Having been in the financial markets for over 40 years, PortfolioConstruction Forum managing partner and publisher, Graham Rich says, “Over the last five years, PortfolioConstruction Forum Symposium has become a real opportunity for debate about the outlook for investment markets and their impact on the investment portfolios of Kiwis.

“I’m delighted to be part of the program and to be facilitating such a world class Faculty of subject matter experts. In my view, anyone who has a role in investment advice ought to be taking advantage of this opportunity to engage with this expert Faculty and with their colleagues.”

Now in its fifth year, it features an independently selected faculty of international and local academics, investment consultants and investment professionals, and facilitates debate on the investment markets, strategies and investing.

There is a lineup of 20 international and local experts including special guest keynote, Professor Niall Ferguson, PhD, internationally renowned economic and financial historian, Harvard University professor and Stanford University senior fellow, in his first ever visit and only presentation in NZ.

The Symposium is two programs in one - you can attend day one only, or both days and register here.
