A leading non-bank lender has appointed a new head of distribution.

New Zealand Home Loans (NZHL) has appointed Chris Wong in a newly-created head of distribution role, effective 4 July 2016.

NZHL CEO, Julian Travaglia said, “Chris' appointment is the final addition to our new management structure, which has been designed to provide the business with a solid platform as we drive the business forward.

“In this newly created role, Chris will cover the strategic development of franchises, lead the sales and distribution team and drive profitable and sustainable sales, business growth and client retention across the NZHL network."

Travaglia said he is delighted to have Chris join the team, bringing with him exceptional leadership skills and business growth experience.

“I’m more excited than ever about the future of the NZHL business, and know I have the very best support from the 250 people who drive our market-challenging organisation,” said Travaglia.
