ASB opens regional centre in Hamilton

ASB Bank has opened a brand-new “ASB Central North Island Regional Centre” in the Hamilton CBD.

ASB acting executive general manager of retail banking Claire McKinnon said the bank’s brand-new base is an exciting new chapter for everyone at ASB, especially for its dedicated Waikato team.

“At the heart of everything we do is a passion for helping Kiwis progress and achieve their financial goals,” she said.

The ASB Central North Island Regional Centre is designed on the principals of activity-based working, similar to the head office in Auckland. It provides office space and meeting rooms for more than 90 people from the local ASB retail, commercial, wealth and insurance and rural banking teams.

Below the regional centre, ASB’s local team will welcome visitors in its newest branch. ASB customers will also enjoy experiencing the latest digital banking services including 24-hour automated “express banking” transaction facilities, business banking, Smart ATMs plus video access to ASB’s wider comprehensive team of banking experts.

The new purpose-built ASB branch and regional centre is ASB’s first branch outside of the Auckland-Northland area. It is situated on the corner of Bryce and Barton Streets, just streets away from ASB’s original Angelsea Street branch.
