Investment expert joins BNZ

One of the country’s top investment experts, Graham Ansell, has taken up important governance roles with BNZ’s wealth business as the bank takes delivering great outcomes for its customers to the next level.

BNZ has appointed Graham Ansell as director of BNZ Investment Services Limited Board and is chairman BNZ’s Investment Review Committee.

Ansell was previously the chief investment officer at ANZ Investments, where he oversaw more than $28 billion in funds under management. He also worked with the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) as a portfolio manager.

“Graham Ansell is one of New Zealand’s leading experts in investment management,” BNZ general manager wealth Peter Forster said. “His experience in the industry makes him a great fit for these roles and his input and guidance are already proving invaluable.”

“Investments are in my blood – I’m constantly looking for ways to help New Zealanders achieve better outcomes with their money,” Ansell added. “These roles give me a great opportunity to do more.”
